Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 1 ½ cups shredded kosher brisket (cooked)
  • ½ cup finely diced onion
  • ½ cup parve non-dairy cream cheese or shredded parve cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds (wear gloves!).
  3. In a bowl, combine brisket, onions, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional parve cheese.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the brisket mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until jalapeños are tender and tops are slightly crispy.
  8. Serve hot with a smoky dipping sauce or enjoy as-is!
