Ingredients
- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 1 ½ cups shredded kosher brisket (cooked)
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- ½ cup parve non-dairy cream cheese or shredded parve cheese (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds (wear gloves!).
- In a bowl, combine brisket, onions, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional parve cheese.
- Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the brisket mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, until jalapeños are tender and tops are slightly crispy.
